As the season continues, we’d like to take a moment to remind everyone about our Communication & Conflict Resolution Policy. This process helps ensure that all concerns are handled fairly, calmly, and through the proper channels, so our teams can focus on what matters most — the kids on the ice.
When a concern or issue arises:
Pause and take 24 hours before responding if emotions are high.
Start at the team level - reach out to your Team Manager or Parent Liaison.
They will bring your concern forward to the Head Coach and help facilitate a respectful discussion.
If the issue cannot be resolved at the team level, the Team Manager will contact the Age Group Director, who will provide guidance and keep the Wranglers Executive informed.
Parents and players should not contact Hockey Alberta, League Officials, or Wranglers Board Members directly regarding team issues.
This policy ensures consistency, fairness, and respect for everyone involved.
The Wranglers Executive will only become involved once the proper communication process has been followed.
We all want the same thing — a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for our players, coaches, and families.
By following the communication process, we can resolve concerns more effectively and maintain the Wranglers’ strong sense of teamwork and community.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
Warm regards,
Wheatland Wranglers Executive
